Under the guidance and leadership of master grower, scientist, forester and botanist Joni Moore, Ottawa Innovations produces the highest quality organic cannabis in the state. She is passionate not only about treating the ill but also about empowering others on their wellness journey. Joni has assembled a robust organization with an experienced team in regulatory compliance, supply chain management, sales and marketing. Through forward thinking and robust leadership Ottawa Innovations looks forward to expanding its operations in the state of Michigan.

As a child she explored the forests and fields near her home; in college she studied botany, then forestry; as a mother raising three children in the Upper Peninsula she explored the beauty of the U.P.’s Northwoods and involved the family in extensive flower and vegetable gardens; as a research associate at MTU she helped study the effects of climate on forest soils; as a certified herbalist she learned about the health benefits of all herbs; and as a cannabis budtender, caregiver, and gardener Joni learned the power of this plant to soothe and protect us.
